Tradução do quarto volume da série amplia o acesso global a discussões sobre os impactos dessas inovações na proteção de dados
A Agência Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD) publica, nesta terça-feira (19), a versão em inglês da quarta edição de seu Radar Tecnológico dedicada às Neurotecnologias. A tradução integra os esforços contínuos da Agência em ampliar a cooperação internacional e fomentar o diálogo global sobre os impactos de tecnologias emergentes na proteção de dados pessoais e na privacidade.
Neurotecnologias são dispositivos e métodos que interagem com o cérebro e sistema nervoso, a fim de acessar e modular funções desses sistema a partir do processamento de dados neurais. Nesse contexto, o Radar Tecnológico Nº 4 aborda os conceitos principais relacionados às neurotecnologias, apresenta seus potenciais usos e discute a aplicação dos parâmetros gerais da LGPD para o tratamento de dados neurais.
A internacionalização desta edição do estudo responde ao crescente interesse tanto de autoridades reguladoras estrangeiras na legislação brasileira quanto de pesquisadores internacionais por materiais técnicos de referência, reforçando o compromisso da ANPD em produzir conhecimento acessível não apenas ao público brasileiro, mas também à comunidade internacional.

The translation of the fourth volume in the series broadens global access to discussions on the impact of these innovations on data protection
The National Data Protection Agency (ANPD) is publishing, this Tuesday (19th), the English version of the fourth edition of its Technology Radar dedicated to Neurotechnologies. The translation is part of the Agency’s ongoing efforts to expand international cooperation and foster global dialogue on the impacts of emerging technologies on personal data protection and privacy.
Neurotechnologies are devices and methods that interact with the brain and the nervous system to access and modulate the functions of these systems through the processing of neural data. In this context, Technology Radar No. 4 addresses the main concepts related to neurotechnologies, presents their potential uses, and discusses the application of the LGPD’s general parameters to the processing of neural data.
The international scope of this edition of the study responds to the growing interest of both foreign regulatory authorities in Brazilian legislation and international researchers in technical reference materials, reinforcing the ANPD’s commitment to producing knowledge accessible not only to the Brazilian public but also to the international community.
